Kevin Gillespie
MHSA, RN, Executive Director

Mr. Gillespie has over 30 years experience combining direct service, system development and administration throughout the Appalachian Ohio region. He is a registered nurse with much of his work focused on creating innovative service solutions with partners across public service systems and in alliance with therapeutic, housing and employment professionals. Along with his responsibilities as Executive Director of Integrated Services and founding director of Blue Sky Alliance of Appalachian Ohio, Kevin is working with Bill Madsen on a new book tentatively entitled Collaborative Helping: A Framework for Supportive Service.

Chris Smitley
MSW, LISW-S, Associate Executive Director, Clinical & Rehabilitation Services

Mr. Smitley has worked as a therapist, a mental health service manager and served in a wide range of other roles within the community mental health system-of-care. Recent experience with Motivational Interviewing and Integrative Harm Reduction will help Chris reframe therapeutic and rehabilitation services both for clinically trained and other helping professionals.

Kim Dement
M.Ed., PCC-S, Associate Executive Director, Youth & Family Services

Ms. Dement has a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Ohio University and is a Licensed Supervising Professional Clinical Counselor. She has worked as a children’s residential supervisor, a behavioral health service manager, and served in a wide range of other roles within the community behavioral health system-of-care. Kim is currently working with partners throughout the Appalachian Ohio region to improve and expand home-based supportive services for families.

Cheryl Brooks
Associate Executive Director, Finance & Administrative Services

Ms. Brooks is a graduate of Ohio University where she majored in Accounting. She has ensured continued growth for Integrated Services by overseeing the implementation of significant automation. Cheryl is working with colleagues across Ohio to prepare for healthcare and related systems reform.
